MALCOLM S. MITCHELL, MD is professor of Medicine, Immunology and Microbiology at the Karmanos Cancer Institute and at Wayne State University In Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Mitchell is an international leader in the field of cancer immunology, and has helped pioneer the understanding and use of vaccines for the treatment of melanoma and other cancers.

He has participated widely in the clinical investigation of adjuvants, immunomodularity drugs, and cytokines for the treatment of cancer, and is an expert in the field of immunotherapy. Dr. Mitchell holds an MD from Yale University.
