JEFFREY HWANG was named Chief Financial Officer of IRX Therapeutics in January 2002. Between 1980 and 1999, Mr. Hwang held various positions as a Vice President with JP Morgan & Co., Inc. Mr. Hwang's background includes experience in the areas of capital markets, syndications, project finance, human resources, and internal consulting. His relevant functional experience includes capital raising, marketing, planning & analysis, and human resources management.

From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Hwang was Chief Financial Officer of a small public sports education company and subsequently was a consultant to small business enterprises seeking his financial and management expertise. From 1976 to 1978, Mr. Hwang was a staff accountant with Price Waterhouse & Co. In June 1980, he earned his MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.

Mr. Hwang earned his BS in Economics with a major in Accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
