JOHN W. HADDEN II was elected President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2007. From November 2003 to January 2007 he served as Chief Operating Officer. He had been named Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors in October 1999 and served as Chief Financial Officer from June 1998 to December 2001.

Prior to joining IRX Therapeutics, Mr. Hadden was an Associate at JP Morgan & Co., Inc. from 1991 to 1995 and from 1997 to 1998. Mr. Hadden has experience with many facets of finance including capital markets, investment banking, and venture capital investment. His finance transaction experience includes merger and acquisition advisory and capital raising for the healthcare and biotechnology industries. Mr. Hadden earned his MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration in June 1997 and has a BS in Management, summa cum laude, from Tulane University.
